Typical romance

typical romance

a typical romance usually has a love triangle which means the boy will at the start never get the girl however towards the end he will eventually get her but there is another 3rd person who is stopping them from coming together this person could be the parents of the boy or the girl, it could be another person wanting to go out with the girl or boy. another typical thing in a romance is the colour red this colour is usually associated with love or blood and that concept interests the target audience into watching the film. the typical viewer of a romance film is a female audience usually the film will comfort the viewer by relating to their problems f or example the viewer could have just gone through a brake up and so in the film there could be a brake up and the girl finds someone better or gets back together with the boy this comforts the viewer. the typical viewer is usually a female women who has just gone through a break up and is watching the romance film to make her feel better it is upon the films job to achieve this so that she enjoys the film and gets emotionally attached to the film. in a romance the camera shots are usually long shots this means the viewer can have an over view of the film and judge each character however there are some close shots of the characters and generally the characters that have close ups are the main characters and are the favoured by the audience. in a romance film there is usually a secret crush on someone without that someone knowing that they have a secret crush on them and the storyline basically follows them getting closer to falling in love with each other in the end however in some romance films there can be something dramatic that happens which keeps them apart so that they cannot come together this could be the women falls in love with the wrong person or the other way around but eventually in the end they will come together.
