good fellas is a crime film. it mostly contains diagetic sound which is of the car and a strange banging noise in the back ground. the opening 2 mins starts off with a shot of the car to set the scene for the viewer this gets the viewer enticed in the film and interested on who is in the car also it tells the audience that the main character is inside that car and an important part of the films story line is being told. the opening two mins starts of in the middle of the actual film getting the viewer interested and curious about what happened and how it happened. the last shot of the opening scene is a shot of the main character the viewer can tell this because the camera focuses on him out of all the characters by keeping him in the centre of  the shot also in the background is non-diagetic sound of his voice speaking suggesting that the story is about him, you can tell that it is him talking because he is talking about himself so the viewer knows that the voice over inst another person and whilst he is talking the camera is on him as if he is looking back at something he did in the past and the director wants the viewer to realise this so that they can follow the storyline otherwise the viewer would get confused. the characters are wearing casual clothing and that suggests that they could be anyone to  the audience however they appear to be shifty which tells the viewer that they are up to no good also because they seem to be having a casual chat it makes the viewer warm up to them and the audience don't see them as the bad guy; it makes them look innocent. the car they are in looks in good condition however it doesn't look expensive so that suggests to the audience that they haven't got much money to spend on a good car.
towards the end of the clip the audience finds out that there is a body in the boot of the car at first the audience thinks that it is a surprise to them as it is to the audience thinking that someone else put that guy in there but as it turns out the audience were surprised that they tryed killing him failed and then stabbed him countless times and shot him this tells the audience that they are not to be messed with and that they are criminals. at the very end of the film the last shot is a medium shot and the diagetic sound becomes non diagetic and some guy starts talking the camera then zooms in on a specific guy this tells the viewer not only he is the main character but also the leader of the group of criminals. as they were sitting in the car the light was coming into the scene from the right hand side lighting up all the characters faces this makes the audience feel like they are just a normal group of friends driving somewhere.
