Now you see me & inception

now you see me

                            inception

compared to inception now you see me is similar in openings but different at the same time as in each opening opens differently but includes similar stuff for example now you see me and inception both when opening focuses on the main character/characters this is common in most opening scenes however something that differs from inception and now you see me is the area in which the scene is set, inception opens on to a beach with the main character lying there and now you see me because there are multiple main characters the opening switches to each main character in a different scene but all doing magic tricks this shows the audience that they don't know each other yet they all have something in conmen magic. most crime films don't have much non diagetic sound instead they use diagetic sounds to make the audience feel  connected with the story and make the story feel real for example in the opening of inception the main sound is the sea and the seagulls out side of frame whilst focusing on the main character this makes the viewer feel as if the scene was real also the noise of the sea and the seagulls helps the audience to recognise where the scene is set (on the beach in this case) similar to inception  now you see me also mostly contains diagetic sound because it is mostly the characters talking this would make the viewer feel as if the characters are talking to them and because of this the audience are made to believe that the film is real. in a crime film the main characters are normally dressed neatly and not scruffy this is proved in inception and now you see me because the main character in inception is dressed in a suit and eating dinner politely showing that he has good table manors and just like inception now you see me the main characters are dressed neatly to there role and not scuffed up this is so that the audience warms up to them identifying them as the main characters it also suggest to the audience that they are important.
